Cross-country skiers feel right at home in the Miesbach district around our hotel in Holzkirchen and in Tölzer Land, just 20 minutes away by car. Hundreds of kilometers of cross-country ski runs and best snow conditions according to experience invite you to go on extensive tours
Friends of alpine skiing don’t have to go far either. Behind the hotel stretch the Alps with numerous ski areas. Sudelfeld or Spitzingsee-Tegernsee can be reached by car in just 40 minutes, as can the two insider tips for freeriders, Wallberg and Wendelstein.
Your winter holiday in Bavaria
The Wendelstein and the Wallberg are also ideal for tobogganists. The sport is no longer just great fun for the little ones – thanks to the increasingly better prepared and longer routes, you can reach very high speeds while tobogganing.
The ice rink in Holzkirchen is open to ice skaters for a few hours almost every afternoon in winter. If you prefer to watch, you can follow the home games of ESC Holzkirchen at the same place.
